Narciso Rodriguez - The Man Who Rose From Rubble with a Rumble

The hallmark, or break to fame, for Narciso Rodriguez came about when his idealic womens clothing creation, a simple white dress, was worn by none other than Carolyn Bessette during her marriage ceremony with John F Kennedy Jr. in 1996.
Narciso Rodriguez came in to the fashion fabric designing scene after he finished his graduation at the Parsons School of Design. He was born on the 27th of January 1961 to his Cuban immigrant parents. He has gone on to gain fame for modern design of the fabric albeit for the feminine clothing segment.
He has done work for the Anne Klein and Calvin Klein fashion house. He also has the distinction of being awarded two fashion awards by the CFDA and that too in consecutive years.
Narciso Rodriguez also has the debatable distinction of designing the red and black dress that Michelle Obama wore on the election night. The controversy that followed that designer wear is well known and requires no amplification. Apart from this the controversial wear, it is a Narciso Rodriguez creation that Michelle Obama wore for the inaugural events that she attended as the First Lady.
Rodriguez also introduced his namesake collection which he started in 1997. The man is also the creative director for the Spanish House “Loewe”. He has risen from the rubble of dismissal like a phoenix and has made his own place among designers of world fame. Today he commands attention that is global in nature. His collections are all forward looking be it in fur or the signature collection that is to hit the stores this spring. He has created a niche in the world of fashion designing and his creations fast gaining popularity due to their wearability factor.
